Great item I love it
Bought this for my Great Aunt and she said she was very surprised it works as well as it does. Shes not sure about “pain relief” but she can feel the muscles that she needs to work more on. It is very easy for her to use so I’d say it was worth the money.
My boyfriend absolutely loves this thing! It's perfect for your feet and the includes electrode pads to do other body parts is a huge plus.
I received this EMS foot massager through the Amazon Vine program and tested it as directed. The first thing I noticed is that the intensity is quite strong. Even on level 1 (the lowest setting), the stimulation was more powerful than I expected. There are multiple modes to choose from, and some are noticeably stronger than others, so it does take a bit of experimenting to find a comfortable setting. The pulsing sensation is mostly concentrated in the heel area rather than evenly across the entire foot. Depending on what you’re looking for, this could be a positive or a drawback. For me, it felt less like a full-foot massage and more focused on specific pressure points.Overall, the device seems well-made for the price and offers a wide range of modes, but it may not be ideal for users who are sensitive to strong electrical stimulation. Starting on the lowest setting and increasing slowly is recommended.
First things first, since i have read some of the other reviews: you MUST use this on your BARE feet… it will not conduct unless your skin is touching the pad! The instructions included aren’t very clear on this, but if you are familiar with TENS units you know this to be the case. Ok… on to the review: it is very lightweight and can be folded or rolled up to pack for traveling. It comes with the mat, a charging cable, 8 TENS unit pads and two cables that attach to those pads, a remote control and an instruction booklet. Strongly suggest you open the box with care so you can use it to pack everything back into when not in use. The mat works as a huge TENS unit for the bottom of your feet (BARE!)… it has different programs and intensities (similar to portable TENS units). I found it to work very well but you have to remember to keep both feet on the mat at the same time and they must be bare - it will not work if you are wearing socks (even thin ones). The pads can be used just like any typical portable TENS unit and can be used at the same times as the mat if you want. I found both the mat and the pads very easy to use (very intuitive) and encourage you to experiment with the different modes and intensities to find what works best for you. I will also note that the pads are pretty standard and you can find replacement pads easily (I already had some for another TENS unit I own and verified that the standard replacement pads work). The pads can be used many times (can typically get 20 or so uses out of each pad). It is helpful after using them to carefully rinse them with clean water and sort of shake them to dry them. The mat can be wiped down with a wet cloth using just water, or if really dirty can use some rubbing alcohol on it to clean the mat. A helpful hint, especially in these colder months: since you have to use the mat with bare feet, and because the unit doesn’t product heat, it can be helpful to put a blanket or towel over your feet while using to make it a little more comfortable temperature-wise.
